Composite Helical Pipe Pile - 250,000 pounds

Introducing Dixie's new Composite Helical Pipe Pile (CHPP) which can handle up to 250 Kips. This Dixie exclusive pier combines the best of a helical pier (end bearing loading) with an 8" Pipe Pile (skin friction loading).

The composite tip consist of helixes which when installed by a hydraulic motor screws the 8" pipe pile into the soft soils of Lake Bonneville.

The advantages are:

• Proven in the soft soils of the east and west coast
• Lower cost than concrete or pile driven foundations
• Very fast installation
• No excavation
• No soil removal (no spoils)
• Installs in limited access sites
• No water pumping in high water table areas
